Nurse Practitioner

Brighton Hospice is a rapidly growing industry leader in the field of hospice care. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a patient's last months by offering comfort, dignity, and care wherever the patient resides. As a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Clinical Team to contribute to that mission.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing oversight of clinical and Nurse Practitioner services in coordination with the Medical Director
- Assisting with on-call needs when the Medical Director is unavailable
- Providing oversight on initial and ongoing assessment of the impact of the terminal diagnosis on daily living, and the patient's physical, functional, psycho-social, and environmental needs
- Partnering with an interdisciplinary team to implement and manage adequate, individualized plans of care, determining scope, priority, and frequency of services based on acuity and patient/family needs

Qualifications for this role include:
- At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner work experience, preferably in hospice
- An active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), CNP, or other NP license
- Ability to travel within the service area of Brighton (current driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance)
- Compassion in caring for the sick and terminally ill
