Main Responsibilities:

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at Thompson Health, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in our community. Your primary function will be to deliver consistent, evidence-based care that meets the needs of our patients.

You will collaborate with our office staff to develop and implement efficient office practices, ensuring a seamless patient experience. Additionally, you will liaison with practice management and hospital administration to advance the goals of our health system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing patient management and role modeling that aligns with our practice goals and health system objectives.
  • Acting in the best interest of our patients and assisting the health system in meeting strategic goals.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of and ability to institute programs necessary to comply with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Exhibiting leadership skills and professional behavior consistently.
  • Guarding confidential and protected information.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NYS certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • AANP Board Certification.
  • DEA license required.
  • Able to gain appropriate FFTH privileges.
  • Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner and in primary care medicine is preferred.

Salary Range: $114,000-$134,000 based on experience.
