The position requires ensuring that staff meet established goals and directives. Collaboration with the Vice President is essential to develop strategies aimed at increasing patient volumes, improving access, and enhancing community engagement. The role also involves working with the Vice President to create marketing strategies that aim for excellence. Regular audits of scheduling and reporting are necessary to ensure performance accuracy. Timely completion of requests for standard changes, including provider reschedules and no-show reports, is critical. The individual will work closely with administration to address department growth, call volumes, and workflow adjustments necessary for optimizing performance and ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, and terminating staff as needed. The role requires maintaining updated employee files, including performance evaluations, clinical competencies, job descriptions, and organizational charts. Adherence to system and HR policies and procedures across all assigned practices is essential. Consistency in reporting in line with management requirements is expected, along with ensuring that data is current and accurate. Monthly sharing of data with scheduling staff and administration is required to evaluate performance and foster teamwork. The individual will also oversee the hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, and termination of office support staff, manage payroll approvals each pay period, and maintain medical record documentation, including charting and filing. Effective telephone etiquette and timely responses to patient concerns or complaints are crucial. The role also involves ensuring that the practice meets the goals and objectives set by management and assisting in the development of operational targets.
