Job Title: Security Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Security Field Engineer to join our team at Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA). As a trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, MCA provides innovative solutions that enhance workplace safety, security, and efficiency nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee system infrastructure, system hosting, system connectivity, and system licensing.
  • Coordinate ePACS Change Control Board (CCB) activities.
  • Update and maintain system documentation, training, SOPs, project schedules, and milestones.
  • Provide office support, including subject matter expertise in system administration and technical writing.
  • Conduct full feasibility and alternative analysis of Lenel and other HSPD-12 compliant PACS.
  • Develop a roadmap to achieve full NIST SP PACS Assurance compliance.
  • Partner with Agency end-users to configure and troubleshoot.
  • Conduct Lenel software tests, upgrades, and facilitate configurations.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in physical security.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert knowledge in Lenel OnGuard Enterprise architecture.
  • Experience in managing, installing, configuring, engineering, and designing LenelS2 OnGuard Enterprise Replication.
  • Ability to maintain a US Government Public Trust Clearance (current active clearance, desired).

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

Travel Requirements:

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
