About the Role

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Splunk Admin to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Splunk Enterprise solutions to ensure seamless performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and management of Splunk Enterprise solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the administration of Splunk environments, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Provide expert-level support for Splunk-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement best practices for Splunk administration and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk solutions with other IT systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Splunk configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of Splunk environments to ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on Splunk best practices and operational procedures.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis on system performance, usage, and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of Splunk solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Splunk technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure operations.
Requirements
  • Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Architect
  • 10 to 14 years of experience in Splunk Enterprise administration and operations
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Admin, and Splunk Work Model
What We Offer
  • Annual salary between $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and qualifications
