Splunk Enterprise Security Consultant

TekStream Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Enterprise Security Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering Splunk solutions to our customers, with a focus on Splunk Enterprise Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple levels of an organization to identify needs and use cases, develop a set of requirements, design a solution, and implement that solution using Splunk.
  • Design and implement complex Splunk environments, including multi-site clusters, searchhead clusters, multi-tiered, and/or cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead small project teams and mentor junior resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, data analysis, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in an IT-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security.
  • Splunk Enterprise Security and Cloud Connector certifications are preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows, including the Linux command line and tools such as vi.
  • Experience with scripting languages (bash), development languages (Java, Python), and databases.
  • Web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across levels of an organization.
  • A self-starter who can remain motivated when working individually.
  • 2-5 years of consulting experience.
  • Analytics or statistical modeling experience is a plus.
