Job Overview

A Project Manager at ARL Incorporated is responsible for planning, establishing, and managing information technology (IT) projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Proposal Development: Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives.
  • Milestone Tracking: Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, then realign schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Communication Planning: Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Report Preparation: Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.

Requirements

  • Education: BS/BA or higher required.
  • Certification: PMP certification required.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding project management principles and planning.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate a team to complete a project in a timely manner.

Experience:

$105,000 - $145,000 per year.
