General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to transform technology into opportunities, connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of related experience in IT management, with expertise in ServiceNow Platform, ITIL v4, and problem management. The selected individual will provide leadership, coaching, and training to systems professionals, develop and administer schedules and performance requirements, and enhance information systems by identifying technology opportunities and developing application strategies.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Q level clearance within six months of hiring. The estimated salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000, based on experience, location, and other factors.

Job Description
  • Manage systems professionals directly or through subordinates by providing leadership, coaching, and training.
  • Act as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Develop and administer schedule and performance requirements.
  • Have budget responsibilities.
  • Enhance information systems by identifying information systems technology opportunities and developing application strategies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accounts, security, workflows, and secure systems connectivity.
  • Manage all information systems policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters of Science degree; OR in lieu of degree, an additional 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • 15+ years of related professional work experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • Proficient skill and ability in ITIL v4.
  • Demonstrated experience with SLA/OLA management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery, Continuous Service Improvement, and Problem Management.
