PTC is a reputable title agency seeking a qualified Escrow Officer with a solid background in the title industry. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Drafting Closing Disclosure (CD) and HUD Statements along with other necessary closing documentation.
- Working closely with the title department to address and resolve title-related challenges such as legal descriptions, easements, property divisions, ownership issues, tax liens, and more.
- Obtaining necessary approvals from lenders, sellers, and brokers regarding loan closing documents.
- Ensuring timely updates and collection of all payoffs, taxes, and Homeowners Association (HOA) dues.
- Responding to inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies in a professional and efficient manner.
- Facilitating closings with a diverse range of clients including real estate agents, lenders, and investors.
- Confirming details such as closing dates, locations, required documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.
- Participating in weekly team meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a title company.
- Comprehensive understanding of investor-related business.
- Regular physical presence at the workplace is a fundamental requirement.
