Position Overview
PTC is a reputable title agency seeking a qualified Escrow Officer with a solid background in the title industry. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Drafting Closing Disclosure (CD) and HUD Statements along with other necessary closing documentation.
  • Working closely with the title department to address and resolve title-related challenges such as legal descriptions, easements, property divisions, ownership issues, tax liens, and more.
  • Obtaining necessary approvals from lenders, sellers, and brokers regarding loan closing documents.
  • Ensuring timely updates and collection of all payoffs, taxes, and Homeowners Association (HOA) dues.
  • Responding to inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Facilitating closings with a diverse range of clients including real estate agents, lenders, and investors.
  • Confirming details such as closing dates, locations, required documentation, and funds due at closing with borrowers.
  • Participating in weekly team meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a title company.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investor-related business.
  • Regular physical presence at the workplace is a fundamental requirement.
