Job Description

Gulfstream is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Master Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to customers on in-service aircraft installations, repairs, and refurbishments.
  2. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems on in-service aircraft to determine cause and pursue preventative actions to improve efficiency and product quality.
  3. Problem Solving: Assist in problem solving to establish or correct planning methods for in-service aircraft refurbishments and installations efficiently.
  4. Collaboration: Interact with Engineering, Product Support Engineering, and Quality Control to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
  5. Training and Development: Organize, develop, and administer the Employee Skills Development Program to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  6. Scheduling and Task Management: Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet service and delivery schedules.
  7. Supervision and Instruction: Assist management with supervision and instruction of technicians in proper procedures and techniques of troubleshooting airframe, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  8. Performance Appraisal: Assist with performance appraisal of subordinates and provide guidance and growth opportunities to reinforce developmental areas.
  9. Knowledge Management: Maintain a current knowledge of industry standards, vendor information, and all other procedures, publications, and general knowledge pertaining to product support installations, repairs, and refurbishments.
  10. Work Scheduling and Compliance: Assist in maintaining work schedules and updating of CMP cards, and review work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with Gulfstream Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
  11. Lean Activities: Support Lean activities to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  1. Manufacturing and Repair Station Procedures: Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and/or repair station procedures and specifications, plant safety, tooling, and quality requirements.
  2. Troubleshooting Experience: Established track record of troubleshooting manufacturing or installation processes.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of all applicable machinery and processes necessary to perform the job.
  4. Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
