Upon successful completion of the probationary period, employees will receive a wage increase.

Shift Differential:
Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees:
Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Position Overview:
Support the objectives of the Slot Department by assisting senior management in overseeing daily operations. Ensure that services provided meet and exceed customer expectations while adhering to established policies and regulations. Maintain compliance with relevant laws, including the Tribal State Compact, Gaming Ordinance, and IGRA for Slot operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons and internal stakeholders at all times. Foster effective working relationships with all customers of Oneida Casino. Address customer concerns promptly and prioritize customer satisfaction.
* Provide leadership and guidance to staff within the Slot Department. Contribute to management discussions and ensure personnel policies are effectively implemented.
* Collaborate with Slot Department personnel to ensure adequate resources are available for operational responsibilities.
* Establish and maintain effective communication with all Gaming personnel and other stakeholders. Attend departmental meetings to facilitate clear communication.
* Develop and uphold Department Standard Operating Procedures.
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements consistently. Maintain high standards of service delivery and customer engagement.
* Guarantee a positive experience for guests by offering assistance, answering inquiries, and demonstrating game operations.
* Assist in formulating and communicating departmental goals, objectives, and policies in line with applicable laws and regulations.
* Supervise and coordinate staff activities, including evaluations, scheduling, and training.
* Enhance staff performance through coaching and timely feedback.
* Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication regarding departmental activities.
* Maintain security and control over Slot operations and associated assets.
* Document customer inquiries and concerns during designated shifts as necessary.
* Provide detailed daily reports to the Slots Manager, including schedule changes and employee updates.
* Monitor and address potential issues related to security and safety.
* Complete daily payroll reports as required.
* Maintain inventory supply forms and related documentation.
* Conduct investigations of any alleged infractions of departmental policies and follow up with necessary training or disciplinary actions.
* Collaborate with Marketing to promote slot winners.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
* Stay updated on industry knowledge through research, seminars, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of departmental functions, objectives, and policies.
* Experience in supervising, training, and evaluating staff.
* Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software in a Windows environment.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and meet deadlines.
* Capacity to build and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, as well as Indian Gaming regulations.

Education and Credentials:
* Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle required.
* Insurance and Driver Safety Training are mandatory.

Working Conditions:
* Frequent standing, sitting, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing.
* Occasional lifting and moving of weights between 11-24 pounds.
* Evening and weekend shifts may be necessary.
* Work environment may not be smoke-free with moderate noise levels.

Experience:
* Background in customer service or hospitality is essential.
* Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
