KBR is in search of a talented Graphic Designer to deliver exceptional visual solutions for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). GED is dedicated to providing essential capabilities that support the NRO in planning and executing intelligence-gathering operations.

As a Graphic Designer, your role will encompass providing comprehensive web and graphic design support to the GED directorate. You will collaborate with diverse teams specializing in hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis to develop systems that fulfill our clients' mission requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Technical, Communications, or IT, accompanied by over 10 years of professional experience
  • Proven experience within the Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense programs
  • Familiarity with NRO programs is essential
  • Experience engaging with senior executives and participating in high-level meetings
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate project timelines effectively
  • Proficiency in translating complex ideas into clear and engaging graphical representations
  • Skilled in utilizing various tools including PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and Maya/3Ds Max
  • Capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across different organizational levels to achieve mission objectives
  • Design visual presentations by creating art and copy layouts
  • Analyze and develop original visual solutions for communication projects
  • Identify the most effective methods to convey messages through print and digital media using color, typography, illustration, photography, animation, and various layout techniques
  • Oversee the overall layout and production design of publications
  • Employ perspective, isometric, orthographic, and schematic techniques to create technical and non-technical illustrations for presentations, reports, brochures, etc.
  • Design promotional displays, packaging, and marketing materials, including distinctive artwork, banners, logos, and signage systems
  • Create and construct wall designs, frames, and artwork
  • Design and produce awards and certificates for various occasions
  • Develop content for web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects
  • Gather relevant information through meetings with stakeholders and independent research
  • Prepare sketches or layouts manually or digitally to illustrate concepts
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Integrators and Communication Officers
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create compelling graphic products that effectively communicate strategic information to senior stakeholders across GED, the NRO, and the broader Intelligence Community
  • Maintain a holistic perspective of the role, incorporating a technical understanding of GED products, partnerships, dependencies, and capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the NRO System Engineering process
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and GEOINT systems
  • Understanding of GED systems

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI poly required
