Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist I to join our Acute Care Therapy Team at UNC Health Care. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities, and education to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
