Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a range of diagnoses, including autism, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement splinting and adaptive equipment programs to enhance patient mobility and independence.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • At least two years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
