About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients with neurological and developmental rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • At least two years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy.
