Job Description:

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. You will prepare and maintain records of products shipped and track shipments, receiving incoming materials, unpacking, and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices. You will also verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications, maintain records of received goods, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents, and stock and distribute materials in inventory and on receiving lines. Additionally, you will lift heavy items and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissorlifts, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification. You will have knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. You may also perform crate shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates. You will be quality conscious with accurate counting ability and willing to be flexible to changing priorities. You will have strong customer focus and be able to meet short notice travel requirements. You will also be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work any shift, and overtime when needed, and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship. You will require a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior relevant experience.

Position requires the ability to maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
