Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Systems Specialist to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a Controls Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for commissioning, programming, and testing of building automation systems. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning and testing of building automation systems
  • Programming and setup of graphics and communications links
  • Documentation of point-to-point verification and sequence of operations validation
  • Service and repair of equipment and systems at customer locations
  • Coordination with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for installation and repairs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or formal training preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience in HVAC/controls; previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely and legally
  • Ability to wear safety equipment and work at heights
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
