Contract Duration: 12 Months
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Experience with Autosys.
- Familiarity with Unix and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Aternity, Splunk, and Big PandaGrafana.
- Experience with Public Cloud platforms like Azure and Google.
- Proficient in Jira.
- Ability to execute Runbooks and Playbooks.
- Oversee batch and application monitoring and support.
- Manage mainframe operations for EFT applications.
- Handle incident management, particularly for major incidents affecting EFT.
- Support BCP events.
- Ensure compliance with standard work requirements for assigned applications.
- Monitor queues and dashboards to prioritize daily tasks effectively.
- Stay updated on impacts and issues through Teams rooms and chats.
- Communicate and escalate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with teammates across various applications and verticals.
- Maintain and update documentation relevant to your applications.
- Engage in incident management, change requests, deployments, and problem tickets.
- Participate in regular meetings with L2 and Development teams for feedback exchange.
- Identify and propose improvements.
- Foster positive relationships with team members.
- Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues.
- Complete administrative tasks such as updating documentation.
