Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Account Assistant to join our team. As an Insurance Account Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and helping them navigate the complex world of commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and policy details
  • Process certificate requests and change requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with the creation of proposals and quotes for new business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service and support
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, insurance, or a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in an insurance-related role, preferably in a commercial insurance setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Insurance license (2-20 General Lines) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with Applied Systems or other insurance software applications
  • Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and concepts
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
