Scope of the Role:

The Global Account Manager facilitates coordination and development of strategic customer accounts across the Spectrum Plastics portfolio. Strategic accounts are defined as those customers who represent substantial revenue, engagement across the global SPG network, and significant growth potential.

Key Objectives:

  • Develop and maintain a strategic map of respective accounts
  • Company overview, key product lines & strategy
  • Develop a priority/strategic positioning of SPG that will result in a strategic supplier position
  • Identify contacts and build relationships with key contacts across technical, supply chain, and executive functions
  • Communicate and sell our value-proposition
  • Focus on high-value and best-fit product lines
  • Develop a pipeline in collaboration with the extended sales team to drive significant year-over-year growth
  • Act in a cost-efficient manner

Responsibilities:

  • Establish an internal team consisting of Engineering, Sales Managers, Quality, and Marketing to serve the Global Account
  • Negotiate long-term agreements that are win-wins for both customer and SPG
  • Prioritize and drive pipeline projects
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive team on revenue and margin progression, pipeline and its conversion, key milestones with timelines, and scorecard
  • Ensure that Salesforce is maintained and updated

Reporting Structure:

  • The Global Account Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales and Business Development and collaborates with respective segment VPs and Divisional Leaders
