Hello,

We are currently seeking a qualified Agile Project Facilitator for a remote opportunity.

Position Highlights:

  • Completely Remote
  • 6+ months engagement
  • Experience in Change Management is highly desirable

Role Responsibilities:

  • As a proactive Agile Project Facilitator, you will guide a cohesive team in the design, development, and deployment of a software platform tailored to meet the technical and functional specifications of a government client, utilizing an Agile methodology.
  • Your role will encompass facilitating the Agile process necessary for the application’s design and development.
  • You will coordinate efforts with various vendors, both internal and external to the agency.
  • This position entails comprehensive Requirements Management utilizing Jira as the primary tool.
  • You will assist teams in documenting, breaking down, and managing the requirements elaboration process throughout the development and testing phases.
  • The program scope includes systems modernization, managed services, process development for cloud service provisioning, data integration across modules, and enhancing cloud capabilities to address mission challenges.

Your Impact:

  • Lead sprint planning sessions in collaboration with project teams and oversee daily stand-up meetings.
  • Monitor and report on sprint progress using visual tools to illustrate development status.
  • Engage with product owners to ensure timely resolution of design-related queries and issues.
  • Guide and track the Agile development teams during the development and unit testing of their respective components.
  • Collaborate with the project team to gather, refine, and clarify functional and technical requirements.
  • Document all requirements in Jira.
  • Prepare requirements traceability reports in Jira, linking requirements to relevant artifacts.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in software development.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Comprehensive SDLC experience in both waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience as an Agile Project Facilitator.
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements elaboration process and associated artifacts throughout the SDLC.
  • Proven ability to utilize Jira for managing, tracking, and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of change management best practices, including practical experience with Change Control Boards.
  • Experience in an Azure cloud environment is a plus.

Specific Skill Sets:

  • Agile Methodologies, Sprint Planning, Sprint Oversight, Monitoring and Reporting, Agile Coaching.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation, Requirements Analysis.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Hands-on experience managing integrated teams.
  • Proven capability to work independently while being a vital part of the team.
