About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our business development and sales team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the sales team to develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and adoption of AWS.
  • Educate Digital Native Business (DNB) customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Preferred qualification: Knowledge of cloud architecture and experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
