About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Solutions Architect team, you will play a critical role in building technical relationships with leading Life Sciences companies globally and serving as their trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our sales team to design innovative solutions for customers, drive AWS adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and establish credibility with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Lead deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when building new and migrating existing applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community and author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, tutorials, etc.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
