Job Summary

Kana Hotel Group is a leading hospitality company that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and value to its guests. As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a critical role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and perform check-in/out procedures with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
  • Follow all cash and credit card procedures required by hotel and brand standards to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Check house count to determine the rooms available for the day and review credit limit exception reports to ensure seamless operations.
  • Update housekeeping room status and balance departments from daily activity reports to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Perform cashier shift changes and explain hotel promotional items to guests, highlighting our unique amenities and services.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints, offering alternate solutions and demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service.
  • Document guest accidents and maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • One year of hospitality experience required, with a focus on customer service and cash handling.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Knowledge of the hotel layout, amenities, and procedures, as well as local geographic area knowledge and community events.
