POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nighttime Operations Team Member plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of the retail environment. This position is dedicated to minimizing the non-sales responsibilities of the Sales Team, thereby enhancing customer service and maximizing sales opportunities. The Nighttime Operations Team Member will concentrate on essential tasks during overnight hours, allowing for a more effective completion of duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Conducts comprehensive restocking across all departments, including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, and Gifts.

+ Collaborates with the Inventory Control team to support inventory management through tasks such as on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, and display integrity checks.

+ Executes temporary and permanent price adjustments, including tagging, signage updates, and inventory review.

+ Performs recovery tasks throughout various departments, including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise.

+ Assists in visual merchandising for designated areas, including fixture updates, signage revisions, end cap adjustments, and mannequin dressing, as well as preparing merchandise for promotions and resets.

+ Aids in the execution and upkeep of planograms across all hardlines departments.

+ Supports OMNI fulfillment during peak business periods.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ Years of experience: Two years.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

+ Proficient in using System Two and RF/Gizmo devices.

+ Capable of reviewing and establishing planograms and visual merchandising directives.

+ Able to identify and replenish low stock or out-of-stock items.

+ Effective communication skills with retail sales personnel and leadership regarding price changes and restocking.

+ Willingness to work overnight shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:

+ Performs tasks under direct supervision, adhering to established policies and procedures. Work is subject to review by a supervisor, with limited opportunities for independent decision-making.
