Job Description

Clearwaters IT is seeking a skilled EDI MUMPS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and enhancing legacy MUMPS systems, as well as a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop MUMPS applications
  • Assist in providing technical input to the development process
  • Support requirements analysis and implementation
  • Develop specifications for software programming applications
  • Document and demonstrate solutions
  • Provide information and support to customers

Requirements:

  • 10 years of direct experience in the field
  • 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Development experience with MUMPS/Caché
  • Extensive experience maintaining and enhancing legacy MUMPS systems
  • Aptitude and willingness for learning new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with the VA Agile and SAFE set of processes
  • Previous experience on Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
  • Experience with HL7 messaging and SOA concepts
  • Experience in integrating and/or interfacing system components
