**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Primark. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee payments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and check high-volume payrolls to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Work collaboratively with the Payroll Manager to set deadlines and meet payroll processing requirements.
  • Follow detailed payroll checking procedures, including report production, payroll checking and correction, time-off processing, and more.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with local country legislation and Primark rules on calculating and entering company and statutory payments.
  • Process attachment of earnings orders and garnishments, as well as calculate and administer holiday pay entitlement.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and post-sorting, and learn new tasks associated with payroll processing and systems.

**Requirements:**

  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll, preferably with a Payroll Certificate Program (FPC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
