Your Role
As a Senior Property Accountant, you are an accomplished professional in property accounting, poised to advance your career while managing a national portfolio. You excel in meeting deadlines and delivering robust financial reports for your designated properties. You are adept at identifying challenges, providing insightful analysis on monthly reports, and continuously seeking avenues for process enhancement. Additionally, you enjoy sharing your expertise and engaging in training sessions for new accountants.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in property accounting within the commercial or residential real estate sector.
- Proven proficiency with software applications, including Excel, Word, and MRI.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA credentials are advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Third Party Management.
Key Performance Indicators
- Timely completion of monthly reporting and support for your Accounting Manager during audit processes.
- Effective coordination of the integration of new properties into the accounting framework.
- Oversight of the accuracy and efficiency of all property management accounting and financial operations.
- Assurance that all accounting reports and scheduled check runs are precise and deadlines are consistently met.
Compensation Information
Salary range for this position is approximately $70,000.00 to $90,000.00. This range is determined by role, level, and location, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across various locations.
