Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shred Driver to join our team at VRC Companies. As a Shred Driver, you will be responsible for performing onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile-based shredding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner, demonstrating proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment.
  • Transport documents, equipment, hard drives, supplies, and other materials to and from customer locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing customer needs and directions.
  • Meet department productivity and quality standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to move records from one location to another, utilizing company security measures.
  • Stay organized, with a focus on attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
