Patient Care Specialist

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our team in Manchester, NH. This is a full-time, temporary position with an initial appointment/training expected to last at least 6-8 weeks but may be extended up to 3 months.
The successful candidate will assist patients with eating, drinking, positioning/turning, ambulating, transferring, and escorting, while also maintaining general cleanliness of the inpatient/resident's environment. The estimated salary for this position is between $32,626 and $46,277 per year, depending on location and experience.
This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing and walking for long periods, bending, lifting (not to exceed 35 pounds), reaching, carrying, stooping, stretching and similar activities.
