Patient Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Bethesda Health. As a Patient Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care services, including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety support as directed by the Charge Nurse
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently into the electronic medical record system
- Orient new patients to the facility and unit, ensuring a smooth transition and high-quality care
- Respond promptly to call lights and address all patient needs with compassion and attention to detail
- Participate in regular rounds and reposition patients every 2 hours to ensure comfort and well-being
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment
- CPR certification required; willingness to obtain within six months of employment
- Long-term care experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, visitors, and staff
- Able to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet productivity standards
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary
