Job Summary:

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our operations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are current and accurate with system hierarchy, SLAs, workflows, and work forms established.
  • Verify physical scope (Assets, locations) matches what is reflected in CMMS.
  • Ensure all service orders are accurately and comprehensively filled out by technicians.
  • Develop and implement workmanship standards for corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure manuals, standard operating procedures, methods of operations, and process workflows are current and available at point of use.
  • Train and certify personnel to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • Perform storeroom inventory audits to ensure the integrity of storeroom operations.
  • Trend, track, and report on performance metrics on corrective and preventive maintenance in relation to service level agreements.
  • Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve sustainment activities.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather issues related to sustainment performance and drive follow-up measures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance managers and technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and improve service levels.
  • Develop, implement, review, and communicate site-specific quality plans.
  • Facilitate collecting customer satisfaction survey results and driving follow-up measures.
  • Develop quality management systems compliant to ISO 9001 and CMMI standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience. Associate's degree in a related field with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Clearable US citizen with ability to obtain a Yankee White & Top Secret with Federal Government.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in equipment operations and maintenance in a facilities management environment.
  • Familiarity with BAS manufacturers, systems, and protocols.
  • Corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of SOP, MOP, EOP, and other facility operations and maintenance documentation.
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance experience.
  • Service Level Agreements experience.
  • Training in basics of mechanical, electrical, and relevant equipment from a technical school or certifications received during training classes from industry vendors.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analyzing, and resolving skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review construction drawings and documents.
