Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to provide temporary support to our Accounting Team during our NetSuite implementation. This role involves extensive data entry and review, requiring a strong affinity for working with data. The successful candidate will be proficient in Excel (vlookup and hlookup functions) to ensure the accurate preparation of legacy data for migration into NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounting system implementation by providing heavy data entry and review of legacy data migration Excel templates.
  • Provide support during the transition phase and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Provide support and assistance to the accounting team and leadership with routine tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to work as a team and maintain professionalism.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with high volumes of data; strong organizational & prioritizing skills.
  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or accounting software implementations.
Work Environment

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
