Job Overview

Wabash is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our payables operations. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our accounts payable staff, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of processing invoices, and driving process improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor accounts payable staff to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of processing invoices
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with SEC guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley legislation
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payment in accordance with contractual terms
  • Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures
  • Lead the implementation of system changes and related enhancements
  • Develop and track efficiency and accuracy metrics
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
