About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our AWS Infrastructure Services - Supply Chain Finance team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in producing financial analysis that enables management to make informed decisions, drive cash flow, and delight our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting processes for Server Capex
  • Partner with AWS Infrastructure FP&A and business partners to create descriptive and prescriptive analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners and various finance teams on strategic initiatives requiring NPV analyses and reporting on financial status
  • Develop metrics and reports to provide visibility into cost structure and drive actionable goals
  • Develop business cases for ad-hoc projects and present recommendations to AWS senior management

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • MBA, or CPA
  • 6+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
