About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our AWS Infrastructure Services - Supply Chain Finance team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in producing financial analysis that enables management to make informed decisions, drive cash flow, and delight our customers.

You will be responsible for performing monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting processes for Server Capex, partnering with AWS Infrastructure FP&A and business partners to create descriptive and prescriptive analysis, and working cross-functionally with business partners and various finance teams on strategic initiatives requiring NPV analyses and reporting on financial status.

Additionally, you will develop metrics and reports to provide visibility into cost structure and drive actionable goals, and develop business cases for ad-hoc projects and present recommendations to AWS senior management.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • MBA, or CPA
  • 6+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
