Yulista Support Services LLC is dedicated to providing comprehensive logistics management services tailored for the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL).

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Logistics Management Technician utilizes extensive technical expertise to ensure efficient operations within the PMEL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee Material Control, Scheduling, Shipping, and Supply functions within the PMEL.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of incoming Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) as per established guidelines.
  • Manage the logistics of TMDE shipments to and from external clients, including the preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving transactions using the PMEL Automated Management System (PAMS).
  • Monitor TMDE statuses and perform timely follow-ups to address any delays.
  • Advise management on workload projections and any significant deviations from the monthly schedule.
  • Conduct training for TMDE Coordinators and ensure adherence to operational protocols.
  • Order and track necessary parts for TMDE repairs, keeping customers informed of any delays.
  • Utilize PAMS for data entry and status updates related to TMDE.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous waste management protocols and maintain safety documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute calibration schedules for TMDE to relevant work centers.
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Collaborate with various depots to coordinate repair and calibration services for TMDE.
  • Maintain a well-organized storage area for equipment and parts.
  • Perform additional related duties as required to support organizational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in PMEL or calibration is essential.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of quality performance as a calibration technician is preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong understanding of the US Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.
