Job Overview:


The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily functions within the kitchen, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:


Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen maintenance, operations, or a related field, including at least one year in a supervisory role. Familiarity with food and beverage service operations is preferred.

Must comply with certification requirements relevant to the position, including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Should demonstrate knowledge of all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules, as well as hospitality terminology.

Must have or be able to obtain Food Manager Certification (as required by state regulations).


Job Duties:
Approaches all interactions with guests and team members in a welcoming, service-oriented manner.


Oversees and evaluates cost control, breakage, and quality support provided to various outlets, banquets, and other areas regarding china, glassware, and silverware.

Assists the Executive Chef in managing culinary supplies.

Regularly inspects the condition and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and all kitchen areas.

Monitors cooking procedures, safety protocols, kitchen inventory, and budget management.

Participates in the formulation of the annual stewarding operating budget, aligning with the overall goals of the Food & Beverage Department.

Educates team members on current safety standards to ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Reports any hazardous situations, emergencies, or security threats concerning guests, employees, or hotel assets to management.

Determines minimum and maximum stock levels and manages the par stocks of all materials and equipment.

Leads, supervises, and directs the Stewarding department while conducting performance evaluations.

Ensures all kitchen staff fulfill their roles effectively.

Maintains the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all facilities and equipment.

Ensures proper handling of all cleaning chemicals.

Attends necessary meetings.


Assists with additional tasks as required, which may include providing support with food preparation, completing setup sheets, etc.

Maintains open lines of communication with other departments.
