Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transaction Advisory Consulting Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Transaction Advisory Services practice, you will work closely with our clients to provide financial due diligence of middle-market US and international businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring businesses, including preparing detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits, interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis.
  • Interact with other functional areas of the practice, including tax, audit, and other consulting practices.
  • Represent the firm in community activities and professional associations.
Requirements
  • Minimum B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the time employment commences.
  • Accounting major.
  • Travel is required, with the ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations.
  • Ability to travel up to 20-30% locally and nationally.
  • A minimum 3.5 GPA is preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint).

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $65,120 - $77,700

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
