About the Job">

This role involves managing and overseeing a wide range of engineering projects, from design and planning to construction and implementation. You will be responsible for leading and guiding teams of engineers and technicians, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, as well as collaborating with stakeholders, including citizens, city officials, and contractors.

We are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and leadership skills to this position, as well as a passion for public service and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Lead and manage teams of engineers and technicians to deliver complex engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including citizens, city officials, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards.
Requirements">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Four years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience at the Associate level.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil or traffic engineering or a related field.
