Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Parking Enforcement Officer to join our Police Administration department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations in Rialto, CA. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade;
  • A valid California Class C driver's license;
  • Ability to obtain a 40-hour P.O.S.T. PC832 Module A certification within six months of hire;
  • Strong knowledge of English usage, basic arithmetic, and public relations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as assigned.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,960 - $57,532, based on a 20-hour workweek. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • 30 hours of paid sick leave per year;

  • Veterans Preference Credit eligibility (5 points added to final examination score).
