Company Overview: The City of Rialto, California seeks a highly skilled CitY Clerk Records Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of its comprehensive records and information management program. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations and enhancing citizen services.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the planning, direction, and implementation of our records management program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the City's comprehensive records and information management program.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of records management practices.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to records management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in records management, preferably in a government setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and implementing records management programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
