About the Role

Muscogee Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of personal effects and supplies, as well as providing technical support for shipment of U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense shipments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of packing and/or storage rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as geographical knowledge of the Washington, D.C. area within a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of daily audit exceptions for various contracts and tenders.
  • Evaluate invoices for contracts and tenders, verify fiscal dates, create credit entries, voucher approvals, and prepare financial reports relating to transportation goods and services.
  • Provide technical support for shipment of U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense shipments.
  • Ensure timely and correct shipment data entry into the Department of State's Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS).

Benefits include telework eligibility, reimbursement of mileage, tolls, and parking to/from inspection sites, and travel time from home to/from inspection sites considered time worked.
