Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Leader to join our team at BNSF Railway. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive efficiency and effectiveness across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Procurement Management: Maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and streamline sourcing processes while ensuring compliance with UCC regulations.
  • Logistics Oversight: Manage transportation operations, optimize routing, and control costs for timely delivery of goods.
  • Inventory Control: Create strategies to minimize carrying costs, ensure adequate inventory levels, and enhance order fulfillment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a diverse supply chain team, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Performance Analysis: Track key metrics like on-time delivery and inventory turnover, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of fifteen years in supply chain management, with five in a defense industry manufacturing setting.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: Our office location is in the US.
