Job Overview

Position: Metal Finishing Specialist - 1st and 2nd Shift / $20-$23

As a Metal Finishing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and treat surfaces of metal or hard composition items to eliminate contaminants such as scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, ensuring a high-quality finish. You will be tasked with loading abrasives like sand or shot into machinery, interpreting work orders, and adhering to specific instructions for coating tasks.

In this role, you will also be responsible for selecting and blending the correct coatings to achieve the desired colors and finishes. Key duties include preparing products before and after the coating process, utilizing a power spray gun, and passing a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). The position requires the ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs.
