Insight Global is seeking a skilled Project Estimator to contribute to our operations. The individual in this role will be tasked with developing comprehensive cost assessments, analyzing designs and specifications for financial viability, and proposing alternatives when necessary. Regular coordination and communication with various departments will be essential to ensure clarity regarding project objectives and the optimal use of resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough reviews of layouts, designs, and specifications to identify cost-effective solutions and suggest viable alternatives.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends to ensure that project cost estimates reflect accurate market conditions.
  • Establish, develop, and implement metrics for evaluating costs and construction estimates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating for utility-scale projects, with a preference for backgrounds in Transmission or Substation work.
