Position Overview
Our client, a leader in the transportation sector, is in search of an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise in utilizing monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace or CloudWatch. This position is vital for maintaining the efficient operation of railway systems, managing incidents, and enhancing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Address IT and Telecom service disruptions specific to railway operations while ensuring system availability.
- System Monitoring: Improve monitoring tools and methodologies to boost the performance of railway systems.
- Incident Response: Manage escalations and provide monitoring assistance during significant incidents impacting rail infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in event monitoring, DevOps, or IT incident management, ideally within a transport or infrastructure context. Proficiency in Dynatrace is REQUIRED.
- Skills: Expertise in Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or comparable tools; scripting (Python, Bash); familiarity with distributed systems (Windows, Unix, Linux).
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Certifications: ITIL, cloud certifications (AWS, Azure), and experience with infrastructure as code tools are advantageous.
