Job Summary

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team as an Occupational Medicine Specialist. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients in outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice and quality of occupational health care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Concentra's values.
  • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a busy environment to ensure efficient delivery of quality care.
  • Adapt to changing business needs, such as scheduling and working additional hours, to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Deliver quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment and take action to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Participate in Continuing Medical Education to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
  • Board Certification.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates.
  • FMCSA NRCME DOT certification can be earned during the credentialing process.
  • DEA required prior to start date.

  • Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
