About the Team:
Our team develops and builds highly realistic simulators and training systems for military and commercial customers. We utilize cutting-edge technology to deliver highly specialized training for some of the most demanding jobs in aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, integrating, and testing of multi-platform training device software and hardware
- Work in a fast-paced, modern agile development environment and collaborate closely with software, hardware, and test teams
- Develop advanced mission capabilities and features
- Obtain a US security clearance
What You Will Learn:
- New approaches for designing software and hardware features and solving hard problems
- How to derive and decompose requirements and communicate technical specifications between development teams
- How to work as part of a fast-paced agile development team
- Verification and validation methods for software and hardware systems
- How to cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and technical excellence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with system design, documentation, and modeling concepts
- Familiarity with verification methods for software and hardware systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with avionics systems, interfaces, and standards (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, etc.)
