Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Nightwing. As a key member of our operations facility, you will be responsible for providing electrical systems commissioning and energy-related services for new construction projects and existing facilities.

Your primary focus will be on analyzing and reporting electrical data and metrics, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with Mechanical engineering and software controls to plan, draw, and implement electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze site monitoring system data and integrate design development, site expansion capabilities, or determine inefficiencies
  • Calculate and develop power requirements for new or existing facilities
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Operations for electrical and control systems
  • Develop and execute preventative and/or predictive maintenance plans for mission-critical equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment to resolve issues or improve efficiencies
  • Understand industry-standard data center best practices and implement them
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems commissioning and energy-related services
  • Current TS/SCI with polygraph
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical cooling systems pertaining to Data Center configurations
  • Understanding of Building Monitoring Systems
  • Understanding of Computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD
  • Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification

This role is a U.S.-based role, and the salary range for this position is $96,000 - $200,000 USD.
